Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I order?
Placing your order as soon as possible is suggested to ensure your desired date is available. We can only fulfill a limited number of orders each week and we book on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks in advance. Last-minute order inquires will require a rush fee. Email us at heathercarpintieri@gmail.com for order inquiries.
Can I place my order online?
We have a selection of products available online such as decorated cookies, cake pops, cakes, and many other desserts. Please pre-order these items within at least 5 work days’ advance notice.
Do you require a deposit?
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon ordering a custom order. Baker’s Best Desserts can cancel the order request if the 50% non-refundable retainer is not paid on time.
What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, checks, PayPal purchases, and Venmo purchases. Our Venmo handle is @Heather-Carpintieri. Please message us directly if you plan to pay via cash or check.
What is your return/cancellation policy?
Due to the perishable, baked, decorated, and handcrafted nature of our services and products, we are unable to provide a full refund.
If you do not pick up your order, we do not give a refund. If you need the order at a later date, you will have to pay for both. We cannot resell any product that is not picked up by the customer.
Once the designated party has picked up an order, it is considered ACCEPTED. All products are the responsibility of the customer once they are picked up. Baker’s Best Desserts is not responsible for any damage occurring to the order during transport, set-up, or anytime thereafter.
If you have a cancellation within 4 days (96 hours), the order can be transferred to another date. However, if you have a custom cookie order, be sure to reach out as soon as possible if you have to cancel, cookie orders are made in advance.
Baker’s Best Desserts reserves the right to modify its return and cancellation policy at any time.

What cake/cupcake/cake pop flavors do you offer?
Yellow, Chocolate, Confetti, White, Marble, Lemon, Strawberry, and Red Velvet. These flavors can be in cake pops and cupcakes, but you must purchase at least a half-dozen of product. If you are ordering a half-dozen of cupcakes/cake pops, we cannot offer the following flavors: marble, lemon, strawberry, and red-velvet (these products require at least a dozen of products).
Do you create gluten-free products?
Yes, we do offer gluten-free cakes, cupcakes, and cookies! Please be aware that our gluten-free products are not created in a gluten-free environment. Please email us at heathercarpintieri@gmail.com for any gluten-free order inquiries.
Do you ship products?
Baker’s Best Desserts does not ship our products at this time. Although, we’ve had customers successfully ship products if packages are well packed so nothing can get broken.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we do indeed deliver any products. We deliver depending on where you are located, and we charge a fee to deliver.
